Observations on 04 August confirmed that dome growth has continued. The appearance of the dome has become more symmetric with the loss of the prominent spines that previously crowned the dome. Dome growth currently appears to be focused in an easterly direction. A small pyroclastic flow on Wednesday 02 August generated light ash-fall in the north of the island.
